Text – If home is a transit
Material – bought sand worth 2,500 INR, my hair woven on my bedsheet and a hibiscus flower
Location – Maple Tree Garden Homes, Thaltej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

The site is the same locality I lived during the covid years from early 2020 to May, 2022 with my family in Ahmedabad. The locality being partially empty echoed the construction sound and offered occasional glimpses of the labors that were building the apartments. The work is homage to the community that was migrating throughout to the country as a result of a sudden lockdown. The scroll has been slowly cultivated using my hair that is woven on my bedsheet over a course of a few months.
