The large scrolls serve as poetic memoirs from extensive walks that I make in the meat and fish market. The text ruminates on the gestures of hand and tongue making meat as an object of inquiry. Created on rice paper with burnt marks, using incense sticks the process has been that of cooking and incorporating text as an ingredient.
