Choti Mix is a collaborative performance by Richi Bhatia and Manuela Lalic (Canada) made during a residency program, Sandarbh 39 at Partapur, Rajasthan.

The performance was a social intervention, involving the women in the town, hinting towards the idea of welcoming and intermingling with the other. As they sat under the open sky in the street, the women were invited to braid Bhatia’s black hair and Lalic’s blond hair as part of the performance. Once the hair were braided, they walked within the same street slowly unbraiding their hair.
