Creating assemblages through paper casts and different materials through Vessels i, ii, and iii, I intend to create an archive of raw materials collected and processed from multiple locations. Casts of different utensils from UAE and India, fish scales collected from different markets and edible dry anchovies collected from super markets, are juxtaposed to create connections that map the animal body in fragments. The audience in turn must engage with an entire sensorium, including smells and sights that could also evoke revulsion and discomfort - highlighting vessels as spaces of mutation.
